Incoming correspondence, newsletters and other publications, minutes of Colonial Dames meetings, and correspondence and estate records of Jennie and Rockwell Lyon, respectively. Marcella Putnam was an active member of the Colonial Dames chapter in Connecticut. Her own correspondence dates from 1950-1961 and regards Colonial Dames business. Jennie Lyon was Marcella's mother's adoptive mother, and her correspondence dates 1904-1931 and relates to financial and legal matters. Rockwell was Jennie's husband and his estate records include stocks and bonds, and the records of a probate hearing.
